My car is new and my BlueConnect ® is not working? (No Power or Sound)
Answer: Please contact your Dealer or Installer and have them do a diagnostics check on your BlueConnect.

I have had my BlueConnect ® for a while and started having problems with using the system?
Answer: Try doing a reboot to your cell phone by powering down the phone and removing the battery.

How do I know if my system is a Generation 1 or a Generation 2 BlueConnect ® ?
Answer: If you have had your product before January 1st, 2010 it is a Generation 1. If you purchased a vehicle or BlueConnect was installed after April 1st, 2010 it will be Generation 2. Generation 1 does not have the three languages.

If my BlueConnect ® has the mute feature, can it tie into the audio head?
Answer: No, BlueConnect ® is a self contained unit that has its own Speaker and Directional Microphone.

Does my BlueConnect ® mute the radio when I have an incoming call?
Answer: The Generation 2 Aftermarket kit offers the capability to mute the radio, although not all of the vehicle programs offer this feature.
